There really weren't a lot of choices for them to pull from. I like the location of the WC patch - on the right shoulder. It appears that the wordmark logo is one single patch, as opposed to individual sewn-on letters on the hard-to-find authentics from that era. However, unlike the really cheap looking replicas from that time period that also sport a single patch, this one seems more proprotionate. I think the choice of red pants and red helmets with the white NHL Jerseys is money. Still allows them to "Rock the Red". A solid effort from the Caps. To Matthew and Breaktheice: They apparently only wore those with the red MLB Jerseys, never with the white ones. And halfway through the season they switched to red with everything becuase the white ones started to get sweat stains and looked rather disgusting. All the same, I would have loved to see the Caps in red Wholesale Jerseys with the white pants. But it looks like that's not gonna happen, at least not this year. When the NHL decides to set up a game on the national mall (okay, it's a pipe dream), I hope to see those. Also, a note to anybody else saying that these have problems: They're straight up throw backs. Which is awesome and how teams should be doing it. Deal. I personally think the Caps should use these as an annual heritage uniform for 4 or 5 games per season. Just like the Canucks should use their original '70-'72 uniforms in the same way. I do like the Caps' current uniforms because the navy pants and home helmets give the team more of an American look. Overall, this is a great look. Great to see Ovie standing side by side to Caps legend Rod Langway.
